Q is an ongoing series of site-specific interventions. I join queues and when I get to the front, I simply walk to the back of the queue and begin queuing again. I repeat this for several hours until I get bored, or, as with the case of Frieze Art Fair, I get ejected from the event by security. I never perform queuing for anything that I will end up buying or gaining entry to, thus these performances are in part about deferred gratification. |
